Like every female with a pulse,I love me some Jude Law and because of that I want to say I loved Repo Men but I didn’t. The storyline is good. The movie is unnecessarily gruesome and I can’t for the life of me figure out why Forest Whitaker who is normally such a brilliant actor was even cast in this movie in the first place because its a total waste of his talent but I understand, a paycheck is a paycheck.
Repo Men was mediocre at best and confusing (I can’t give anything away so you just have to watch it to understand why I added that last underlined bit).

She’s Out of My League is for everyone who has ever turned to the person they were dating and thought to themselves “how did I end up with that because he/she is clearly out of my league“.
Its okay to admit it out loud,its happened to everyone.Seriously.
Going in for this movie,I braced myself for crude high school boy humor and that part didn’t disappoint.What I didn’t expect was the warm underlying story and dare I say,moral at the end of it all. This is a beautiful movie that everyone from ones to 10s will enjoy and appreciate.

When Matt Damon is not too busy f*cking Sarah Silverman,he’s actually out there making good movies.
If you’re politically sensitive,the Green Zone might not be the movie for you but if you want a solid performance from an awesome cast of great actors, then this is definitely one movie you should go see.

The last time I had so much fun watching a movie about 4 guys was last year in The Hangover and as much as I wanted to hate Hot Tub Time Machine (the movie looked extremely cheesy),I have to admit I really liked it. This is one of those movies that will have you laughing so hard because it truly is a funny movie with clever, witty lines that you will no doubt be repeating to your friends long after you’ve watched Hot Tub Time Machine. Whatever you do,make sure you’re at the front of the line for this movie when it opens.

Its hard to imagine Channing Tatum in any role that doesn’t require dancing or fighting but I must say I was very impressed with his performance in Dear John.
If you love Nicholas Sparks’ movies,you’ll no doubt enjoy this one too.
It has all the ingredients from the author’s previous movies – romance and heartbreak. A tear jerker.
And all you Channing fans,you too will enjoy seeing this “other side” of him.
This isn’t a movie I’d watch on opening day though,I’d probably just wait for the DVD.

I can’t think of a better way to kick off 2010 than by spending 1 hr. 41 mins of my time with Amy Adams and Matthew Goode in Leap Year.
Leap Year is one of those laugh out loud movies that makes you feel really good.
Its simple,its funny,the chemistry between the actors is incredible and if you’ve got a thing for foreign accents you’re in for a treat.
Amy Adams was fabulous in Enchanted but she truly shines in Leap Year.

Verdict: Definitely must see.

If you’re not a Transformers fan,this is one movie you might want to pass up.
Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is too loud,too long, completely devoid of any really meaningful plot (until somewhere halfway through the movie anyway) and juvenile at the very best.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is torture for the average movie goer but the true die-hard Transformers fans will absolutely,absolutely love it.

Ever been set up on a blind date and you go with absolutely no expectations only for your date to show up and completely blow you away with his (or her) wit,beauty,humor and intelligence?
Away We Go is that blind date.

The movie is truly funny and tender and Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski deliver really terrific performances.Away We Go is a gem that isn’t getting the exposure it truly deserves but it is so well worth the trip down to your local cinema.

Due to prior commitments,I didn’t get to watch Imagine That but lucky for us Reginald,a fellow movie die hard did and he has kindly provided the five second movie review below…..

Imagine That is very entertaining and continously funny.
There is never a dull moment and its well worth the ticket price.
Eddie Murphy is great as Evan.
The movie had me thinking about my own relationship with my child.
Whether you have kids or not,this is a movie you should see.

My Life In Ruins is a fun,hilarious and light-hearted comedy that is perfect for a family night out,a date night,a girls only night out,a friends only “lets go watch a movie” night out…you get where I’m going with this.Its perfect for everyone.

Simply put,UP swept me off my feet.
It was funny from the get go and the fun and laughter didn’t stop until the credits stopped rolling.
Pixar animators have set the animation movie standards so high and I’m glad to see they delivered yet another high quality movie that everyone will enjoy.
Trust me when I tell you,there is never a dull moment with UP.
I was actually sad when this movie ended!(yes,thats how much fun it was)
So run and go see UP.

The Hangover has the potential to do for Bradley Cooper’s career what I love You,Man did for Paul Rudd’s career.

This movie gets two big thumbs up from me for being a truly hilarious movie.I laughed so hard,at one point I didn’t even have any energy left in me to laugh at all the action on the screen.

The Hangover should definitely be on your list of “must see movies” come June 5th!

Next Day Air is a very simple but funny movie with very likable characters.
Its part comedy and part action.Its got an amateurish feel to it probably due to the fact that its Benny Boom’s feature film directorial debut (he is a very well respected music video veteran).
I honestly thought I was going to hate Next Day Air but I ended up laughing so hard and I have no doubt you too will enjoy it.

Not since Slumdog Millionaire has a movie moved me as much as Sin Nombre did.
Sin Nombre is a deep,dark,intense but captivating movie that will have you on the edge of your seat.
Its raw and so in your face.You’ll want to look away but you wont dare to even blink lest you miss even a bit of the action.
It will test you and make you question values like loyalty,honesty and trust.It will also inspire dialogue about the loss of innocence.

This movie is passionate and unpredictable.Its almost like the writers could predict what the audience expected and then intentionally switch it up.
Unlike Slumdog Millionaire,Sin Nombre probably wont win a boat load of awards but I guarantee you its one movie you’ll be talking about for days to come.

I’m not a betting person but if movies where horses,I’d put all my money on Sin Nombre.
